As most of you know,I love glitter polishes. I picked up this China Glaze polish named Love Marilyn from Sallys bc I had a coupon for 10 off 20. I dont generally go for polishes that look like this but I thought it was different and I wanted to give it a try. It is very sparkly !!! I must add it took FOREVER to take off. Yes most glitters are a pain to get off but these were a bit harder for some reason. I used 2 coats of China Glaze,1 coat of gelous and 1 coat of poshe.*Smooches*

I love this red lip
The first color I tried is spark(matte) and it was soo creamy I fell in love with it LOL. I didnt line my lips as I was just trying to color out bc I just gotten my package in the mail.
Here's the same color with flash. The kit retails for $29.My only complaint about these lipsticks is the size. I knew I was getting minis but Ive seen deluxe samples bigger then these. People say they are good for travel but being they are so tiny I would probably lose them. I wouldnt purchase this kit again however I would buy the lipsticks separately if they came in a full size. Have you heard of this brand before ? Do you have any of their products ? *Smooches*

Girly Bits:Sea's the Day review
As many of you may know Im in a nail polish group where nail polish addicts such as myself love to post pictures of their current manicures or whatever polish out in the market that is on our wishlist. One fellow polish lover and blogger Pam of http://pamsgirlybits.blogspot.com always posted pictures of her manicure that showed some of the most beautiful colors. So of course everyone started commenting on how beautiful they were, asking what brand are they from, etc etc. Come to find out she had actually created these polishes from scratch like the big name companies with the only difference being she hand pours them herself. Which lead me to this blog post/review on Pam's brand Girly Bits.
Pam has always been creative with her nail art and manicures so when she announced she was starting a nail polish line I knew it would be amazing. I think I was one of the first few ladies to place an order become she even started production LOL. I placed an order for a few bottles and she was kind enough to send me a bottle of Stormy Skies for review. So lets get to the pictures....

Stormy skies is AMAZING to say the least. She describes the color as a medium grey that leans a little to the dusty teal side. It has a hint of microglitter that shows gold or green, depending on the skies. I couldnt agree more.
This is two coats and 1 topcoat.Dry time was average and application was good. I have many polishes and I can honestly say I dont have any that looks anything like this.
Here's a shot of the entire Sea's the Day collection.L-R Sailors Delight,Stormy Skies,Razzle dazzle,Purple Potion,Denim Diva, and Street Magic.
Here's a shot of the ones I got and Im kicking myself for not getting the entire collection.Needless to say Im already waiting to see what she comes up with for her next collection.I wish her the best of luck with her business and I think we all need a some Girly bits in our stash.
She is currently using 5ml (mini) bottles priced at $6.00 USD each.
She shipps from Canada
Shipping to the United States is as follows-

L'Oreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes
I won this bottle from L'Oreal's facebook fanpage a few weeks ago and received it in the mail today and had to try it. I love the bottle bc it could double as a mirror for me to put my lipgloss on =)
As you can clearly see in the before pic (even though its blurry as ever) I barely have any visible lashes. In the after pic that is one coat on top and bottom lashes. It made a huge difference with just one coat. I love everything about this mascara except the brush because it is just too long for me.However I could see me buying this in the future bc the product is great.*Smooches*

From the Urban Decay naked palette I used gunmetal and creep. I applied gunmetal over the entire lid and creep just on the outer v of my eye. Creep did not show up well in my pic sorrys =(
I then lined the lash line with Bobbi Brown's gel liner in black ink.
I finished the look with Maybelline's great lash lots of lashes in black. *Smooches*

Happy Halloween
Sooooo I dont like taking my children trick or treating for various reasons so I just decided to play in some make up with them.
KK (on the left) wanted me to so the same eyelook I did on myself this weekend. I tried something different by adding it to her face as well.Kayla wanted to be some many things so we just settled on a lion.
Kaleb was a puppy dog. He rubbed most of it off before I could get my camera to take a pic =( I think it still looks good in this one.
A close up on her eyes =) I had fun doing all of their faces even though I had to bribe my son with chips to keep him still while I did his face LOL Happy Halloween

My halloween make up
I decided to be a kitty/leopard tonight so I tried a hand painted leopard print on my eyes by myself.I think it turned out pretty well for my first time dont cha think ?
First I primed both eyes with Urban Decay primer potion on both eyes then I put Urban Decay Half baked and Urban Decay Smog over my entire eye.I then used NYC liquid liner in black to do the black lines in random places.I then took a small lip liner brush and dabbed brown eyeshadow in between the black lines.I finished the lip with Maybelline
Me and one of my girlfriends CiCi.She drew the whiskers and colored my nose on for me =) This is before we left out to the club.
This is me after leaving the club to show how well Urban decay primer potion works. I did my make up at 7 pm,I danced all night so I put really put it to the test. This was about 5am the next morning and even though my curls were sweated out and my whiskers and nose make up was rubbed off my eyes still looked great. What did you dress up as for halloween ? Did you go anywhere special ? *Smooches*

My first time using a bent eyeliner brush
Ive been in the mood to try new products that I have been scared of for the longest. To name a few gel eyeliner, liquid eyeliner and lipstick. I picked up the Sonia Kashuk bent eyeliner brush from target and the Maybelline gel liner from walmart. I got the Loreal H.I.P duo from CVS.
The gel looks really black in the pic but it is a ashy black when you put it on =( However I do like it but Im still on the hunt for a pure deep shiny black.
This was my first time trying the bent eyeliner and I must say I love it. Very easy to use so Im glad I picked it up. I put the gold out of the duo over the lid only. *Smooches*

Urban decay book of shadows 3 look
Just a quick post on a eyelook I created today using book of shadows III. I used the Urban decay primer potion in original all over the lid. Then I applied last call on the inner corners of my eyes. I put psychedelic sister over the rest of the lid. I put smog as a highlighter then lined the bottom waterline with ransom half way and zero half way.Im wearing two different lipglosses, both are Zoya hot lips lipgloss in entourage and flirt.
Close up showing how flirt and entourage mixed together created a pretty pale pink. Also I want to remind everyone Im working on getting a camera for christmas so I can take WAY better pictures =).*Smooches*

A few things I got for my birthday
So my hubby decided to get me somethings off my wishlist for my bday (Sept.29th).Pictured above Urban Decay book of shadows 3 and Urban Decay box of potions. If you would like more details about either please ask and I will do a review on both =)
So I did a eye look to match one of my favorite dresses.I put loaded all of the lid then I used a fluffy blending brush to apply perversion to the outer v of my eye. Then I lined the bottom half way with loaded and the other half with one of their 24/7 glide on liners in zero.
Another shot showing the loaded a little better
A face shot
I went to get a fill in today and found half a bottle of China Glaze Octa Gone Wild. They sold it to me for 2 bucks bc they said it was old and no one liked it lol.
Another shot. *Smooches*
O.P.I manicure
O.P.I Cheyenne Pepper.I dont even know how to describe this color lol.Its a mix of a orange, brown, mauve and not to mention the gold shimmer. I found this polish while dusty hunting.I absolutely love this color. As you may know I love accent nails so I threw on a few heart shape rhinestones to finish off the look. *Smooches*

Cheeky Monkey Cosmetics
So this was my first time trying Cheeky Monkey nail polish.Ive been interested in this brand every since I read a couple of their polishes names. To give you a little history about the company it was founded by a mother of 3 named Andrea Pahn who said she was bored with what was out on the market. She decided to start her own company that creates fun, creative and cheeky products.
Booty call is described on Cheeky Monkey cosmetics website as a dark burgundy but to me its more eggplant with red flecks of glitter in it.This color is very beautiful. It applied for nicely so with 2 coats it was perfect.Dry time was average.
A shot of the bottle
Get wet is described as a pastel turquoise on Cheeky Monkey Cosmetics website. This color is amazing. It has more green in it then whats showing up in the pictures. My only problem with this color is the fact that it was streaky however after 3 coats it smoothed itself out.So if you pick up this color dont be scared after the first coat keep going, its worth the 3 coats for the color payoff.Having to use 3 coats for this color it caused the dry time to be a bit longer then normal. I really like this color.
I decided to do an accent finger and added a few flower rhinestones. These polishes retail for $15 a bottle. You can purchase these from http://www.cheekymonkeycosmetics.com/. You can also check out Cheeky Monkey Cosmetics facebook page HERE.
(These products were sent to me from the company or their PR department for review but this has no influence over my opinion about these products)
